In the heart of a botanical garden, an ancient ginkgo tree bears witness to the lives of three people separated by more than a century.

In 1908, 1972 and 2020, three stories of solitude, discovery and the desire for connection intertwine through nature, revealing different ways of understanding the world and relating to what surrounds us.
