A creation by Fernando Duarte, premiered in July 2025, co-authored with dancers from the CNB, Four Cantos in a Sonnet, is a choreographic tribute to the poet Luís de Camões in the year that marks the 500th anniversary of his birth. Drawing inspiration from Camões' poetry, this piece emerges as a fusion between literary language and contemporary movement, evoking the heritage space as an integral part of the choreographic narrative. The second piece, Minus 16, by Ohad Naharin, is one of his most referenced works and an emblematic piece of contemporary dance, where the unexpected highlights the boldness and physicality so characteristic of Naharin's universe.
