Bárbara Tinoco is a singer and songwriter born in Lisbon, in 1998. Self-taught in guitar and singing, she studied Musical Sciences at the Nova University of Social and Human Sciences. She began to gain prominence in 2018 when she performed an original song on The Voice Portugal TV show, an experience that marked the beginning of her public visibility.
She debuted in 2019 with the single "Antes Dela Dizer Que Sim", quickly followed by other songs that consolidated her artistic identity, defined by confessional, emotional and relatable writing. Over the years, she has released two original albums — Bárbara (2021) and Bichinho (2023) — and several singles that have had a significant impact on the public, as well as an EP of collaborations with leading names in Portuguese music. Her career has been recognised with several awards and distinctions, establishing her as one of the most important voices in new Portuguese music, thanks to the honesty, sensitivity and maturity of her compositions.
