Opera in 4 acts

(with two 5-minute pauses and a 15-minute interval).

Act I: 35 min. Act II: 30 min. Act III: 30 min. Act IV: 30 min.

In LA BOHÈME, we find ourselves in the Latin Quarter of Paris around 1830. The work depicts the artistic and bohemian atmosphere at the time and tells the story of four characters: Rodolfo, a writer; Mimì, a seamstress; Marcello, a painter; and Musetta, his lover. All of them are united by love, heartbreak, joy, sadness and misery.

It is a moving story that leaves no one indifferent and touches the hearts of the audience. Our production will transport the audience to the ambience of Paris, conveying all the emotion of this wonderful opera.

This co-production with the Massy Opera (Paris) will tour more than 40 cities in Spain, Portugal and France.

With lyrical experience spanning more than 30 years, this season sees Opera 2001 premiering a new production of Puccini's popular opera, LA BOHÈME. Featuring over 100 live performers: internationally renowned soloists, the Opera 2001 Symphony Orchestra and the Sicilian Lyric Choir, with stage design by Alfredo Troisi and musical direction by Martin Mázik.

Entry not permitted to children under 3 years old, pursuant to Decree Law 23/2014, of 14 February, in its current wording (Art. 26).
