This film is like a window, opened thanks to the miraculous meeting between director Sepideh Farsi and photographer Fatma Hassona. The director met Fatma through a Palestinian friend. Fatma became her eyes in Gaza, while resisting and documenting the war, and the director became the link between Fatma and the rest of the world, from her 'prison' in Gaza. They maintained this lifeline for over 200 days. The images and conversations they exchanged became this film. Fatma was killed, along with most of her family, in an Israeli attack on 16 April 2025, after receiving the news that the film had been selected for the Cannes Film Festival.
